TIER II INTERVENTION IN READING AND MATH

As a Title I school, Rock Branch Elementary receives federal funds to provide additional services to our students. The purpose of these funds is to help our students meet their educational goals, particularly in reading and math.  Please be aware that any time throughout the school year, Title I, Intervention or Cadre Staff may be working with your child. All grade levels can be serviced to assist them with intervention services in reading and/or math because they are displaying skill deficits in certain areas.  Your child may need to receive intervention for a two-week period to master the skill they were deficient in, but then may not need extra support again for several months due to another skill deficiency.  The groups are ever-changing based on summative and formative testing data.  If you have any questions about these services, please feel free to contact Mrs. Scott.
