The RBE Reading for Education 2025-2026 Kick-off is coming up on Monday, September 8th. I will be placing Homeroom Envelope Bundles in your boxes this week. On Monday, 9/8 please distribute the lanyards for students to wear home. Students, teachers or classroom aides can write the students name and the school id#: 196642 on the back of lanyard. Explain that if students return their lanyard to school, they will receive a Book Buddy (show example found in envelope bundle.) There is no time frame for returning the lanyard with a Prize Code and receiving a Book Buddy! Each morning please ask if students have Prize Codes, if so, they may come to the Title I room after announcements for their Book Buddy. I will document students that have returned prize codes/received Book Buddy's each day. I have attached the link for the Kick-off Video. Please show this video on Monday morning, 9/2 before distributing lanyards to students. You will find the video at startdayvideo.com.

Rock Branch Elementary School's Music Specialist, Seth Skiles, was named Putnam County Teacher of the Year for the 2023 - 2024 School Year! Congratulations Seth!

Congratulations to all our Spelling Bee participants on their hard work. It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of your peers, parents, and teachers! Great job by all!

Congratulation to Aubrey Dawson for winning our 2023 -2024 Spelling Bee. She will represent RBE at the County Spelling Bee. Congratulations to our runner-up Aubriella Pridemore! She will represent RBE in the case Aubrey cannont.

Thursday, November 16 the 3rd - 5th grade classes at RBE will be going to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church to pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. All donations are due by 8:30 AM on Thursday.

Students at RBE are collecting gently used and new shoes. The proceeds from these donations will go towards the RBE Choir.

Open House for the 2023 - 2024 School Year will take place on August 22nd from 4 to 6.

New Student Registration will be on August 11th from 8:30 to 2:30.
